Follow these steps to get started:
- Call our offices at 770-607-0600 to make an appointment for your FREE consultation. Prior to your initial appointment, download our Client Intake Form and Creditor List Form and fill in all data as best as you can.
- Bring a photo ID and proof of your Social Security Number, along with your completed Client Intake Form and Creditor List Form so that we can get a complete working knowledge of your financial situation for when you come for your free initial interview. Be sure to bring your most recently filed Federal Tax Return and most recent pay stub.
- Note: If you do not know all of your creditors, you might wish to contact a credit reporting agency (Free Credit Report) and request a copy of your credit report. Be aware, however, that the report might not list all of your creditors.
If you feel that you will need to file immediately, you should complete the Bankruptcy Forms Questionnaire before your appointment and bring that completed form with you.
Remember: if you have ANY questions, please do not hesitate to call at 770-607-0600.
Virtual Consultation now available upon request
I believe that there is nothing better than a one-on-one “in person” conference with my clients but there are times when an “in person” conference is not practicable. With the technological advancements in the Internet continuing to evolve and as an alternative to the in person conference Toomey Law can now offer videoconferencing upon request. If you feel that you cannot arrange an appointment in my Cartersville office to discuss your case, you can send an e-mail request to [email protected] to request a video conference to discuss your case.
If you feel that you will need to file immediately, you should complete the Bankruptcy Forms Questionnaire before your appointment and bring that completed form with you.
Finally, keep in mind that we have a no client chasing policy. That means that if the ball is in your court, it stays there until we hear back from you. We manage a large number of cases with a small staff, and while we will do our best to contact you with the current status of your case, remember, this is your case and you must take an active role in maintaining contact with our office in reference to its prosecution.
